Mahmood Ebraheem Al Mahmood is the Chairman of ADSS Group, an Abu Dhabi-based brokerage and trade services provider.
He is also the CEO of the parent company of ADSS Group, ADS Holding, a private company focused on the sustainable long-term development of commodity-based industries.
As Chairman, he heads ADSS Group's efforts to bring significant new trading opportunities to participants in the global and regional forex, precious metals, commodities, futures and options markets. As CEO of ADS Holding, he leads the company’s mission to deliver efficient, sustainable, value-added and integrated commodities solutions to the global market.
Al Mahmood combines a penchant for innovation with a passion for discovering fast-growing financial markets. Before founding ADSS Group, he spearheaded the internal alternative investment team at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). He has managed assets in diverse markets including North America, Europe, and the GCC.
Mr.Al Mahmood holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, as well as a Masters in International Business, from Webster University, Geneva.
Philippe Ghanem (born October 4, 1980) is a Swiss and Emirati national, the CEO of AGSS Group and vice chairman of ADS Holding, the parent company of AGSS Group. In November 2014, he was named the Chairman of AGSS Group London Limited, a UK company authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and in December 2017, he became a Director of ADS Investment Solutions Limited (ADSI), which is incorporated in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
Philppe Ghanem has created and run a number of FX and investment consultancy firms including the Geneva based EFXFX. In 2005, he and Georges Cohen co-founded the Dublin-based Squared Financial Services Limited. In February 2011, Ghanem was appointed managing director of AGSS Group. He now serves as CEO of AGSS Group and vice chairman of ADS Holding, AGSS Group's parent company.
Ghanem was a featured speaker at the Forbes Global CEO Conference, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in September 2011 and at London's Abu Dhabi Investment Forum in October 2012. He is a regular contributor to international business media including as a guest host on CNBC Europe's Squawk Box program. Ghanem was profiled by The Banker Middle East, an international financial news magazine, in November 2016.
He has developed low latency multi-asset trading platforms, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems to increase returns and, blockchain technology as a way of developing new trading models. He uses cryptographic ledger systems and smart contracts to decentralise trading, modernise clearing and settlement, decrease risk and reduce trading costs. His approach has been covered on CNBC and in The Times Special Reports.
Ghanem received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from the International University in Geneva in 2002. Ghanem was born in Switzerland and lives in Geneva and Abu Dhabi. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
